My journey into education began during my college years when I started helping students prepare for the CRCT and the Georgia High School Graduation Test. Working with my first small group of five students, I quickly realized a profound distinction: I wasn't just tutoring them to pass a test; I was truly teaching them the foundational skills they had missed. That realization sparked a passion that kept me dedicated to teaching those same types of students for five years, both throughout college and after graduation. Guiding those tight-knit groups laid the groundwork for my personalized approach and ultimately inspired my official transition into the teaching profession.

My professional foundation is rooted in a lifelong passion for how the world works, which led me to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. This technical background provided a bridge into the classroom, where I became a certified educator in Middle Grades Math and Science, Broadfield General Secondary Science, and a Gifted-certified instructor. Over the years, I have expanded my scope as an AP course educator in both Environmental Science and Physics, allowing me to mentor students through some of their most rigorous academic challenges. Today, I combine my classroom expertise with my long-standing passion for tutoring to offer a perspective that is both pedagogically sound and deeply practical.

Academic success is built on two pillars: inner confidence and the right technical tools. While content knowledge is essential, mastering the tricks of the trade—such as rapid text digestion and instant data inference—is what truly elevates a student’s performance. In my sessions, we don’t just memorize facts; we master the language of science by analyzing variables, interpreting complex graphs, and ensuring experimental reliability. I teach my students to approach major exams strategically by chunking the material and prioritizing the sections with the highest weight, turning overwhelming tests into a series of winnable goals.

When I’m not helping students reach their academic goals, I’m usually fueling my own curiosity for the world. I’m a dedicated fan of sports, anime, and great storytelling, but my favorite daily ritual is a personal challenge: learning at least one new scientific fact every single day. Whether I’m exploring a new discovery or diving into a favorite show, I believe that staying curious is the key to staying sharp. This love for continuous learning is exactly what I hope to pass on to every student I work with.
